I’m Melissa Howell, a trauma-informed, client-centered therapist and transformation coach. I help you release what’s been holding you back – emotionally, physically and energetically – using a powerful blend of evidence-based therapies tailored entirely to you.
No two clients are the same. That’s why I don’t follow a script or offer cookie-cutter programs. Instead, we co-create your journey: one that honours your story, adapts to your needs, and gently integrates deep and lasting change.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to healing. Every client I work with brings a unique blend of experiences, patterns, strengths and pain – and so every journey we take is different.
Some clients come to me after years of trying talk therapy or self-help, still feeling stuck. Others are newly aware that something needs to shift. Many don’t even have words for what they’re feeling – they just know that it’s time to make a change.
Wherever you are in your story, I meet you there – with warmth, deep listening, and a therapeutic toolkit built to unlock powerful results gently and effectively.
Together, we’ll clear what no longer serves you—so you can live from a place that is authentic, grounded, and free.
What Tools I Use
Your sessions will draw from a powerful and adaptable blend of modalities including:
- NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) – change patterns of thought and behaviour at a core level
- IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) – quickly resolve trauma, anxiety, and emotional triggers without having to re-tell or relive distressing memories
- Parts Therapy – bring harmony to the inner ‘conflicting voices’ within you, building emotional clarity and confidence
- Mindfulness Coaching – develop presence, self-awareness and compassionate regulation tools
- Breathwork – calm your nervous system and reconnect to your body’s inner wisdom
- OldPain2Go® – release physical or emotional pain that has outlived its purpose, especially when medical routes have reached their limit
You may not need all of these – and that’s the point. We’ll use only what’s most useful for your unique goals, pace, and lived experience.

What to Expect
We start with a free 20/30-minute Discovery Call, where I’ll gently explore what you’re experiencing and what kind of support you’re looking for. There’s no pressure – it’s just a safe space to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
If you choose to work with me, I’ll suggest a bespoke plan: how often we meet, what methods will suit your needs best, and how we’ll measure your progress. Most clients benefit from a block of 4 -6 sessions to begin with, followed by review.
All sessions are available online or in-person in Cornwall.

Meet Me
I’m Melissa, and I’m passionate about helping people release what holds them back so they can step into a lighter, more confident version of themselves.
I know that life can sometimes feel overwhelming – whether it’s stress, trauma, physical pain, or those patterns of thought that seem impossible to break. My work is about giving you the tools and support to create real, lasting change.
My Training & Approach

I bring together powerful, evidence-based approaches that work with both the mind and body to create transformation:
Advanced IEMT Practitioner – trained under Ronnie Matar (NLP and IEMT Trainer) and a proud member of the IEMT Association. IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy) is a fast, effective way of shifting emotional imprints and stuck patterns.
NLP Master Practitioner (I completed this in August 2025) – trained with Nishith Shah of ThoughtLabs, one of the leading NLP trainers worldwide. I’ll also be attending his advanced retreat in Goa 2026 to deepen my practice even further.
Other Modalities – including OldPain2Go®, breathwork, and coaching techniques that create holistic change. I will be completing my Advanced Training in OldPain2Go in the coming months.
This ongoing training ensures I stay at the cutting edge of therapeutic and coaching approaches, so you can be confident you’re working with someone who is both qualified and deeply committed to professional excellence.
My Philosophy
I believe that you don’t need to spend years in therapy to feel better. The right tools can unlock change quickly, and once you’ve experienced that shift, you’ll know how much lighter life can feel.
My role is to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging space for you to explore what’s holding you back — and then guide you toward freedom, confidence, and clarity.
Outside of Work
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy walking along the Cornish coast, practicing pilates and mindfulness, or spending time with family. This balance keeps me grounded and reminds me of the importance of living life fully – something I wish for each of my clients.
